Conceived by Ocean Signal, a specialized company in the development and manufacture of quality products for communication and safety at the sea, the rescueME MOB1 is a personal AIS locator device which incorporate DSC.

Its really small size makes it compatible even with the more compact inflatable lifejackets, for a fast local rescue.

MOB1 alerts all the vessels in the accident area that have AIS, and this alert can also arrive via VHF by DSC message issued. The DSC message can be single DSC All Ships Distress Alert, with an alert to all navigation in the area, or Individual Distress Relay, to only alert the vessel VHF Radio itself.  

It is also possible to change the MOB1 device program, if the user changes to another boat. It is enough to do this with the MMSI of the new boat on the Ocean Signal website.

With a fast and precise positioning, its activation is automatic and have an operational life with more than 24 hours. With a high intensity strobe light, its battery is up to seven years.
